The live image of the Google Pixel 8a has been leaked by TechDroider. According to this leak, the smartphone will closely resemble its predecessor in terms of design, with the main difference being the newer model having more rounded edges.
Yogesh Brar, a well-known figure in leaking information in the industry, has revealed the technical specifications and price of the Google Pixel 8a. According to him, the smartphone will feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ resolution OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The device will feature the Tensor G3 processor. In fact, last year’s Geekbench performance test results for the chipset showed scores of 1,218 in single-core and 3,175 in multi-core performance. It will come with storage options of 128/256 GB internal storage. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled at the Google I/O conference in May.
On the front, there will be a 13-megapixel selfie camera, and on the back, a horizontal dual-camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. The device will run Android 14 out of the box and will be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery capable of charging at 27W speeds. Finally, the model’s price range will be between $500 and $550.
